How It Works
- Patient Identified for Handoff – Medical center (customer) has a patient in their care and identifies an urgent need for teleradiology services.
- STAT Case Request Submitted – Customer logs into Foundations™ and submits a STAT case request* to their supporting teleradiology practice.
- STAT Case Request Received – The teleradiology practice uses Foundations™ to monitor for submitted cases in real time. Provided information includes record age, patient location, number of images, customer details, and more.
- Case Response Communicated – Cases are moved into open, accepted, finalized, and rejected worklist queues. Reasons for selected statuses are communicated to customers through a built-in messaging platform.
- Case Request Resolved – Patient STAT cases are returned to the referring customer, ensuring a safe, efficient, and rapid transition of care.
