How It Works
- Resource Gap Identified – Medical center (customer) recognizes a support need for caseload coverage due to planned or unplanned staff capacity.
- Workload Support Request Submitted – Customer logs into Foundations™ and submits a workload request to their supporting teleradiology practice.
- Workload Support Request Received – The teleradiology practice uses Foundations™ to review submitted requests in an open queue dashboard. Provided information includes site name, dates, time zones, number of cases, priority, record ages, requestor name, requestor justification notes, and more.
- Decision About Request Communicated – A teleradiology administrator accepts or denies the request. Reasons for the decision are communicated back to the requestor through a built-in messaging platform.
- Coverage Request Resolved – Workload is taken on by the supporting practice (when requests are accepted). Denied requests are communicated to the requesting customer so they can seek alternative workload coverage.
