We’re committed to respecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains the kinds of information we collect, how we use it, and the options extended to you. We want you to have an informed experience when interacting with HealthLevel.
Definitions
When we say “we”, “us”, “HealthLevel”, we are referring to HealthLevel Inc., our affiliates, and subsidiaries. When we say “Platform” or “Platforms”, we are referring to systems and databases that HealthLevel directly owns, operates, manages, or uses to conduct business; these include the HealthLevel website, the Foundations™ application, social media platforms, newsletter systems, sales databases, and advertising applications. When we say “Privacy Policy”, we are referring to this policy that you’re currently reading.
How and What’s Collected
Information may be collected through a variety of technologies such as cookies, pixels (i.e., NextRoll’s Technology, Facebook/Meta, etc.), beacons, engagement analytics, and webforms.
• Information Collected by Third-Parties. HealthLevel uses third-party services for a variety of business and functional purposes, such as (but not limited to) engagement metrics, newsletter subscriptions, and advertising. Information exclusively collected by these services may or may not be shared with HealthLevel, in whole or in part, including identifiable or anonymized information. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of each of these third-party services, at your discretion.
• Automatic Collection of Data. Certain information may be automatically collected when you use our Platforms, including (but not limited to) your IP address, pages that you’ve visited, which pages you visited before & after, when you visited those pages, what you interacted with on those pages, when and how long you interacted, your browser version, your operating system version, your device model, your geographic location, and other identifiers made available through cookies. Collected information may be shared between Platforms.
• User-Submitted Data. When you provide information directly to us, it may combined with other information about you. An example of this is when you provide your name and email address through a webform that you submit through one of our Platforms. This information may be combined with existing information that you previously submitted. For example, a form that you submitted with your name may be combined with a form that you previously submitted with your zip code. This information may be stored in a centralized Platform.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide you with better, more relevant experiences when you engage with HealthLevel or when HealthLevel engages with you. The following are examples, rather than an exhaustive list, to show you how we apply this information:
- To reply to a message you sent us for technical support, a sales inquiry, etc.
- To send you a generic or customized newsletter.
- To allow you to register for events.
- To manage or verify your account on our Platforms.
- To improve existing or develop new Platforms.
- To conduct research and development.
- To measure your engagement with our Platforms.
