Our attendance this year was our most successful. For the first time in our RSNA exhibition history, we doubled our booth size from a 10×10 to a 10×20. Our larger footprint on the show floor and the positive word-of-mouth regarding Foundations™ led to us having the most booth traffic ever – a 31% boost over last year!
Here are our other observations and highlights:
- A.I. Discovery: When asked why they came to RSNA, most of our booth visitors said they were there to learn about artificial intelligence. Despite this being a focus of previous years, this crowd was determined to get to the facts. As one visitor said, “We’re here to get to the bottom of this A.I. fuss and find out what it can really do.” In our case, we shared how machine learning algorithms are used for our demand forecasting and capacity modeling.
- International Week: We’ve come to recognize the first exhibition day as “International Day” because, in previous years, that’s when we would meet the most people from outside of the United States. However, this year, we had a pleasant, consistent stream of international visitors throughout the week. Top countries to our booth included Italy, Germany, Denmark, the United Kingdom, and South Korea. Regardless of their geography, many were interested in solving their own clinical and business performance challenges.
- Enhancing Operational Efficiency: We had a lot of familiar organizations come by to learn about the cost and time-saving benefits of Foundations™ – including post-procedure analytics. Many were referred to us by their industry colleagues as the solution-provider that boosted their operational efficiency. In fact, our founder & CEO, Parag Paranjpe, spoke about this topic in the RSNA AI Theater. He specifically covered how A.I. & M.L. are used to support growing volumes when faced with limited resources.
Many thanks to our booth visitors: new and familiar. You make our visit to RSNA worthwhile! And finally, a grateful thanks to the RSNA team who makes it possible, year after year, for the global radiology community to come together.
Until next time!
