MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Feb. 1, 2022: In a summary of the year’s highlights, Parag Paranjpe, HealthLevel’s CEO, told the trade press, staff members, and customers that the company had reached an impressive number of its 2021 goals.
First, he reported that all of the 7 VA radiology sites in Florida are now live with the company’s SaaS Business Operations Platform called Foundations. One site has implemented electronic protocoling with impressive efficiency and performance gains.
Secondly, Parag reported that the VA National Teleradiology Program, the company’s first customer, now has more than 7,000 online users.
Thirdly, the VA Radiology department in Minneapolis implemented new Foundations modules that provide a focus on the flow of patients through the organization, enabling them to improve patient safety increase service quality, and provide a better patient experience.
The company, which doubled in size during the year, continues to apply the best software architecture and engineering principles to healthcare informatics. Testing was completed on a new release of Foundations, about to be released, which includes a number of user experience updates, simplifying the customization of dashboards for every user. The introduction of generalized ‘action stacks’ further emphasizes the company’s focus on using the insight arising from its analytics to drive business operations, leading to greater efficiency and a better bottom line for customers. The addition of “watchdogs” to monitor connections with other systems has made a significant difference for IT support staff.
Parag concluded with an announcement that in December, HealthLevel Inc was recognized by CIOReview as one of 2021’s most promising Big Data solution providers. A label that many say is justly deserved and one that the company intends to live up to.
